Surane is a region and a country all of its own, on an island in the southwest of Morshir.

Surane is an grassland island with some foothills and a small mountain range known as Surane's Wall.

The main landmark is the Academy Surane, the premier magic school and capital city that the region's name comes from. This academy is also magically linked to the various Surane towers across Morshir, though how they works is a closely guarded secret.

Born when the tiefling's first arrived in Morshir, Surane is welcome to all who would study and learn the magic arts. However, it is very secretive. Those who are not students of the arcane are not allowed on the island's shores.

Folk from Surane (region) are often fairly delicate, but the wizards and bards come in all shapes and sizes.
